Jim has worked hard to build his business and stands among the top performing agents at Alain Pinel Realtors. He has been with Alain Pinel Realtors since 2004 and has played a key role in the development of the existing new agent mentor program. He has been an experienced mentor and agent coach since 2005 and has received the QSC Platinum award for the past three years. Most recently, he has been teaching real estate agents throughout all 32 Alain Pinel offices about the fundamentals, essentials and critical elements of the short-sale process.  In addition, he has been teaching a sales course in the Los Gatos office, for new agents, and has been a guest speaker at West Valley College during their Real Estate Principals course for several years.

Jim is among only 1% of realtors who are e-PRO technology certified by the National Association of Realtors. This certification equips agents with the latest technology tools to serve clients more efficiently and enables agents with the knowledge to utilize online marketing strategies, ensuring that each listing has optimal visibility.

Prior to Alain Pinel Realtors, Jim served as Vice-President of Business Operations for TechPointer, Inc. where he was the managing director leading a team of technicians, web developers, trainers and marketing consultants. Prior to TechPointer, Inc., Jim worked for IBM Corporation overseeing the operations, marketing and web design areas for the IBM/Oracle International Competency Center located in Redwood Shores, CA. During his tenure at IBM, he also worked in the marketing department of the Storage Systems Division during the MicroDrive product launch, a product that revolutionized hard drive size and capability.

He is currently a member of Almaden Valley Kiwanis and has served as President, Vice-President and Secretary throughout his tenure. During his involvement with Kiwanis, he has also served as Regional Advisor for the California-Nevada-Hawaii Key Club youth division of Kiwanis traveling with the high school students to various conventions and events throughout the Key Club District. Jim received the California-Nevada-Hawaii District - Distinguished Kiwanis Member award for his dedication to community service and currently serves on the Kiwanis International Key-Leader youth leadership training committee.

Along with his real estate profession, Jim greatly enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
